SCCM 2012 R2 SQL DB migration

Issue reported:

We have physical SQL box and while moved DB to virtual Box after moving getting below error. 

Failed to connect to the SQL Server, connection type: SMS ACCESS.

INFO: SQL Connection failed. Connection: SMS ACCESS, Type: Secure

ERROR: SQL Connection failed. Connection: SMS ACCESS, Type: Secure

ERROR: Failed to get SQL Server connection.

Solution:

Step 1: Validate configmgrsetup.log and found this error Error: Failed to find file: D:\SCCM\SCCM 2012 R2 Preq Files\msxml6_x64.msi

Step 2: Copied the msxml6_x64.msi file to SCCM 2012 R2 Preq Files folder and certificate got auto created and the task got completed smoothly.
