Intune Sync Error 0x80190190

Issue: Intune Sync Error 0x80190190

Scenarios: Many devices that have previously been enrolled in Intune as Hybrid Azure AD Joined after Intune licenses Expired.  As Many months later, the Intune licenses are active again, but some devices seem to experience issues syncing.

Device sync status.

Syncing keeps security polices, Network profiles, and Managed applications up to date.

Last Attempted sync:

The sync could not be initiated (0x80190190)

To understand reported error code login to Hiraniconfigmgr.com search error code.  To high level understand error code and meaning.

By seeing above error request is not reaching to AzureAD:

To convert above error to the solution to this weird problem , Below are the work around. 

  1. Open Scheduled Taskson the affected machine:

      1. Microsoft – Windows – EnterpriseMgmt

      2. Find the ID with the enrollment scheduled tasks

      3. Delete all the scheduled tasks

  2. Open the Registry Editor:

      1. HKLM – Microsoft – Enrollments

      2. Find the ID from 1b) and make sure the UPN REG_SZ value under it is [email protected]

      3. Delete the whole ID key (not just the value)

  3. Run gpupdate /force target:computer:

    1. Make sure the Intune device enrollment is successful by checking the device in the Intune portal

    2. Check Sync from Settings – Access work or school – Info and make sure the device syncs successfully.

After perform above task it work as expected. Keep watching for error and solution at one place.
